This is a group of 3 lichtsuchen, all with lights as well as sensors. Starting to get a feel for the interaction. They have a real sense of personal space - if they get too close to each other they start jerking backwards and forwards angrily.
I played a live improvised chillout set in the Vishnu Lounge at [http://edenfestival.co.uk Eden Festival] this year. This is a recording of my set on the second night. I've cut it down a bit and done a bit of mastering to make it more suitable for listening at home, but apart from that, it's pretty much as-played.
Inspired by chatting with Tim Fairhall, this is pair of patches for displaying haikus to networked performers. They're done as max for live patches, but would work equally well in pure max.
The first patch loads a collection of haikus from a text file, or sends them out as they are typed in. The lines are then distributed via net.maxhole to anyone else on the local network.
