Here is a video and my slides from This Happened Edinburgh No. 7. Great night, great talks from Oli Mival, Jonnet Middleton and Andy Farnell.
ChaodependantThisHappened
This is an update of my presentation about art-science as an interdisciplinary activity, and why I like to do it, which I gave at Napier Institute for Informatics and Digital Innovation. Not very text based, so might not be coherent on it's own!

Granulator Interface
This is a simple granulator for Max for Live. It's very much inspired by Robert Henke's excellent granulator. In particular, the extra audio unit for grabbing source material. I've used the GMEM GMU granulator as the basis, as a relatively modern and fast granulation external.
To use it, you'll need Live 8.2.x, Max and Max for Live.
I just came across a review of some of my albums online: [1]. Always nice to have a good review.
Also a reminder of how much difference CC licensing makes. Because of this, the good folks at Black Lantern knew they could put my work up on the Free Music Archive. As a result of that, I've had a couple of reviews, and had music re-used in some videos, and on websites. Great exposure!
There's a video up of a performance I did with Cavan Fyans, Adam Parkinson, Shiori Usui at the Bongo Club in Edinburgh.
We had 2 days to put together an improvised, electronic performance with new people. Our practise focussed around trying to have "musical" interactions while using the laptops.
Chaodependant
I'm going to use this post to collect photos and media from Kinetica 2010. To start with, here's Parag's Flickr set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pkmital/sets/72157623393186086/
ChaoDependant feet
Thanks to the kindness of [1], we're exhibiting both Chaodependant (by me, Owen Green and Agelos Papdakis) and Memory (by Parag Mital and Agelos Papadakis) at the [2] art fair in London.
The last times Chaodependant go shown, it worked great, but the carpet base it was on looked awful. So, for taking it down to [1] we decided to put it on a more professional platform. Apart from aesthetics, we also wanted to address the problem that the pendulum gets further away from the pods towards the end of it's swing, and hence they have less effect on the movement.
