Seven Selections and One Live Set

This is our first demo, designed to give a taste of the world of Kresch. We present seven moments taken from our full sets, covering the range of different styles and moods that emerge in our musical journeys.

Then, to give a fuller insight into the true Kresch sound, we present a full improvisation, mastered but unedited - everything you hear was played live and spontaneous.

Beautiful video for one of my tunes

Alessandra Leone (http://www.alessandraleone.com/) has made a lovely video for one of my tracks:

Field Recording

This page is a record of some of the field recordings I've created. So far they are all created with a Zoom H4 and homemade contact mics and hydrophones. The sounds are only processed to remove noise introduced by the recording equipment, and occasionally EQ'd to bring out certain noises.

Simple Max for Live Granulator

Granulator InterfaceGranulator Interface

This is a simple granulator for Max for Live. It's very much inspired by Robert Henke's excellent granulator. In particular, the extra audio unit for grabbing source material. I've used the GMEM GMU granulator as the basis, as a relatively modern and fast granulation external.

To use it, you'll need Live 8.2.x, Max and Max for Live.

Album Review

I just came across a review of some of my albums online: [1]. Always nice to have a good review.

Also a reminder of how much difference CC licensing makes. Because of this, the good folks at Black Lantern knew they could put my work up on the Free Music Archive. As a result of that, I've had a couple of reviews, and had music re-used in some videos, and on websites. Great exposure!

Somos Nanas

Somos Nanas Front CoverSomos Nanas Front Cover

This is an album edited together from a series of live performances and studio improvisations between me and Josie Davis in the summer of 2009. There are recordings from the Skopje Bienalle, Skopje's "Indie Pub" and from studios in Edinburgh.

Servomotor Music

Servo with Phone coil attached to ArduinoServo with Phone coil attached to Arduino I started playing with an Arduino and a servo motor as preparation for a project I'm working on. Using an Arduino Nano on a breakout board, the setup just consists of plugging the three pin lead from the servo into one of the digital out ports.
